Chelsea Piers Soccer Club (CSPC) is a travel program that competes in the longest existing league in New York City, the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL). The CJSL pre-dates the United States Soccer Federation and is known for cultivating soccer competition for over 85 years.
CPSC fields teams ranging from U10-U19. CPSC is a boutique club that truly believes in providing quality over quantity. We rely on our youth development classes, which start at the age of 2, to develop the core of our club. This core, coupled with the addition of talented recruits from across the city, allows us to create a close-knit community that showcases the depth of New York’s growing soccer culture.
Travel Team Format:
Each CPSC age group conducts team training during the week while competing in league matches on the weekend. Practices are in Manhattan, and league games are held at venues throughout the five boroughs. Certain teams might also choose to compete in holiday tournaments throughout the year. Our teams compete in league play over the course of three seasons: Fall Season (September-November), Winter Indoor Season (December to March), and Spring Season (March-June). High school aged teams will not participate in the fall season. CPSC expects our players to represent their schools on the field without having to choose between club and school commitments.
Chelsea Piers offers dynamic classes for players ranging from 2 years to 14 years. Classes are held at the Chelsea Piers Field House, located at Pier 62, 23rd Street and Hudson River Park. Our soccer specific classes are split into two levels: General Public Classes and Select Classes (available by invitation only). Classes are offered in three different seasonal trimesters: Spring (January – June), Summer (July – August), and Fall (September – January).
